Kalettes Plants

Kalettes Plants

  • Kale and Brussels Sprout cross
  • Delicious, spring greens flavour
  • Attractive, frilly edged buttons
  • Crop throughout the winter

Kalettes are an attractive cross between Kale and Brussels Sprouts. With a flavour more like that of spring greens, they are perfect for those who don't like sprouts (as well as those that do!) The frilly-edged buttons aren't just attractive, they're highly nutritious too. The plants themselves are very hardy and will provide a long cropping period throughout winter. Plant approximately 60cm apart, with a similar distance between rows. Use fleece or netting to prevent plants being eaten by caterpillars.
